Current Category Speed Defies Gravity began as a manufacturer of private label seat covers for motocross teams and companies in 1991. With SDG now widely recognized as the premier manufacturer of high end MTB racing saddles, it became necessary to gain complete control of production quality. In house manufacturing responsibilities increased to include everything from the ti rails to the hand crafted covers. By the mid 90s, SDG had created its own fresh style by using the Kevlar to cover the tear prone corners while covering the rest of the saddle with various metal flakes and embossed designs, all wrapped around a carbon/nylon shell with the strongest 6/4 rails available. Within 2 years SDG was the most copied seat in the mountain bike industry. To see images of SDG saddles color range please go to www.sdgusa.com
